Angels vs. Yankees Prediction
Can the Yankees end their six-game slide against the Angels at 7:05PM ET tonight?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Yankees are -240 money line favorites versus the Angels, who have odds of +200 to pull off the upset. With Parker Bridwell set to face Michael Pineda in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

Latest on Bridwell: Angels recalled Bridwell from Triple-A Salt Lake. Players are typically required to spend at least 10 days in the minors after being sent down but Bridwell was able to bypass that rule because he’s replacing an injured Matt Shoemaker. Bridwell is tentatively expected to start in Shoemaker’s place Tuesday against the Yankees.
Pineda allowed five runs through six innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Angels. Pineda’s pace has fallen off some, but even his weaker outings haven’t been disasters; he still hasn’t given up more than five runs in a game this year. His ERA is up to 3.71. Most of his struggles have come on the road, just as tonight’s poor outing did. He’s 6-1 with a 1.96 ERA and four homers allowed in seven starts at Yankee Stadium and 1-2 with a 6.46 ERA and one homer allowed in six starts elsewhere. His next start will come at home versus the Angels.
Bet Tonight’s Angels vs. Yankees Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Angels are 17-36 in their last 53 games in New York and have lost eight of their last 11 games against the Yankees overall. The Yankees are also 6-1 in Pineda’s last seven home starts, are 9-3 in his last 12 outings overall, and are 7-1 in his last eight starts versus an opponent with a losing record. The Yankees have been a different team at home than on the road this year. They should be ready to unleash hell following a road trip that saw them get swept in Oakland last weekend.
TUESDAY MLB PREDICTION: NEW YORK YANKEES -1.5 (-125)
