White Sox vs. Tigers Pick
The Detroit Tigers hope to make a push toward catching the Chicago White Sox when the two begin a weekend series at 7:10PM ET.
The Tigers have Jordan Zimmerman taking the mound tonight to face Carlos Rodon of the White Sox. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Detroit is the favorite at home, as the Tigers are getting odds of -130 to win. Chicago has been given a money line of +120 to prevail, while the over/under total is set at 8.5 runs.
Detroit is 25-28 overall, 12-12 at home and 31-18-3 with the over. Chicago is 29-25 overall, 16-13 on the road and 28-23-3 with the under. These two are meeting for the first time this season, but the two have split their last 10 meetings from last season. They have pushed or hit the under in six of their last seven meetings.

The White Sox put an end to a seven-game losing streak with back-to-back wins over the Mets coming into Friday while the Tigers look have lost five of their last six. The Tigers get Jordan Zimmerman back on the mound tonight, but he has been struggling prior to suffering a minor injury. On the flip side, Rodon started slow, but has been very solid in his last three starts. Look for Chicago to find a way to win the series opener.
