Monday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – The opening odds and totals for Monday’s MLB action are out, including the lines for the Dodgers-Phillies battle at 10:10PM ET.
The visiting Phillies have opened as –160 money line favorites over the host Dodgers, who are +150 on the ML. Roy Halladay will take the hill for the Phillies who are 4-1 in their last five games against he Dodgers.
Fresh off their come-from-behind victory over the Yankees on Sunday night, the Red Sox take to the road to play the Twins at 7:10PM ET. Boston is –125 money line favorites against host Minnesota, which his +115 on the ML. According to latest MLB trends, the Red Sox are 5-1 in their last six games against the Twins, but 7-15 in their last 22 road games against Minnesota.
The Giants have had a rough go of things of late, but not as bad as the Pirates. Host San Francisco is –170 money line favorites against Pittsburgh, which is +160 on the ML after losing its 10th-straight game on Sunday. The Bucs are 3-10 in their last 13 games against the Giants and 1-7 in their last eight road games versus San Francisco.
The White Sox, who trail the Tigers by 5.5 games in the NL Central, are –120 road favorites against the Orioles (+110) tonight at 7:05PM ET. The under is 5-0 in the last five meetings in Baltimore and 11-3 in the last 14 meetings overall. The White Sox are also just 1-4 in their last five road games against the Orioles.
