Brewers vs. Twins Pick
After losing nine straight to open the new season, the Twins will attempt to win their fourth consecutive game when they host the Brewers tonight at 8:10PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Twins are -136 money line favorites versus the Brewers, who have +126 odds to pull off the upset tonight on the road. With Chase Anderson set to face Phil Hughes in the pitching matchup, the over/under is sitting at 8.5 runs.

Oswaldo Arcia hit a walkoff RBI single in the bottom of the 12th inning to give the Twins a sweep over the Angels on Sunday. Arcia went 3-for-5 with a walk in the victory and he was 2-for-4 with a home run and a two RBI on Saturday. The 24-year-old is now hitting .294 in 17 at-bats this season.

Zach Davies was hammered in Sunday’s loss to the Pirates, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits across just 2 1/3 innings. He was called up to replace Matt Garza (lat) in the rotation and the start was a disaster. Ryan Braun was also held out of Milwaukee’s lineup, but he should start tonight after receiving a day off.
OUR PICK: Anderson pitched well in his first two starts this season but his BABIP is .267, suggesting luck factored into his performances. Thus, a couple of more balls in play should fall for hits tonight, which should lead to opportunities for Minnesota. As previously mentioned, with the Twins earning a sweep of the Angels, they should play with a ton of confidence tonight at home. For at least one more night, roll with Paul Molitor’s squad.
