Dodgers stumble in Arizona

Los Angeles fell 7-2 in its series finale at the D-backs, dropping the final two games in the three-game series. Max Muncy was 2-for-4 and scored a run in the defeat. Cody Bellinger finished 2-for-3 with a walk and scored a run. Ross Stripling took the loss as he gave up three earned runs on five hits with two strikeouts and two walks in 1 2/3 innings.

Garcia homers in loss

San Francisco fell to 73-86 on the season Wednesday night with a 3-2 loss at home to the Padres. Aramis Garcia drove in both runs as he was 1-for-3 with a 2-run homer and a walk. Austin Slater finished 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base. Abiatal Avelino ended the game 2-for-3. Casey Kelly took the loss as he allowed two earned runs on six hits with three strikeouts and no walks over five innings.

Jyun-Jin Ryu (6-3, 2.00 ERA) takes the mound tonight for the Dodgers, while Madison Bumgarner (6-6, 3.20) will toe the rubber for the Giants.

MLB Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Dodgers are 10-4 in their last 14 games overall. Los Angeles is 35-16 in its last 51 Friday games.

San Francisco

The Giants are 7-19 in their last 26 games overall. The under is 20-6-1 in the last 27 Giants home games.

Prediction:

Ryu should be able to right the ship for Los Angeles as he’s been fantastic on the mound this season when healthy. He’ll face a weak Giants offense in this one. While Bumgarner is also having a very solid season, run support will be an issue and the Dodgers have a strong familiarity of him due to years of matchups. I’m taking favored LA here.
