Angels vs. A’s Prediction
American League West rivals will clash again tonight when the Oakland A’s host the Los Angeles Angels at 10:05PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the A’s are -114 money line favorites to beat the Angels, who have odds of +104 to pull off what would be a small upset tonight. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 7.5 runs.

Hector Santiago will take the hill for L.A. after he turned in a nice debut performance last Thursday in a no-decision against the Rangers. While striking out seven batters, he allowed three runs over six-plus innings. Santiago had a 3.59 ERA with a 1.25 WHIP over 180 2/3 innings in 2015.
Kendall Graveman will toe the rubber for the A’s after allowing two runs in 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the White Sox last Thursday. After throwing just 84 pitches in the defeat, Graveman should be good to throw 90-plus tonight.

Dating back to last season, the A’s are 1-8 in Graveman’s last nine starts and 1-4 in his last five home starts. Conversely, the Angels are a perfect 7-0 in Santiago’s last seven starts and 6-0 in his last six starts against the rest of the AL West.
