Arizona Diamondbacks DFS SPIN

Christian Walker delivered his 19th and 20th homers Tuesday in the Diamondbacks’ 16-13 defeat of the Braves. The ice-cold Walker had gone hitless in three straight games and 4-for-44 in his last 12 games before bouncing back tonight. He drove in five runs and also swiped his seventh base in seven tries this year.

Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN

Austin Riley went 3-for-5 with two homers and seven RBI in a losing cause Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. Riley is the first player to drive in seven runs in a loss since Tungst… whoops, since Shohei Ohtani last August. Riley had a three-run homer and a two-run double off Zach Davies and then a two-run homer off Austin Adams. It wasn’t enough in what turned out to be a 16-13 game, but fantasy leaguers will take it. Riley has seven homers and 18 RBI in his last 21 games.

Diamondbacks vs. Braves MLB BETTING PREDICTION

Based on the offensive explosion last night in Atlanta, I’m going to take a significant risk by taking the under tonight. Charlie Morton won his fifth consecutive start last Friday while allowing three hits over seven scoreless innings in a 9-0 victory over the White Sox. He’s 10-6 with a 3.20 ERA this season, so he continues to be in excellent form. Meanwhile, Ryne Nelson will start for Arizona and given his 4.98 ERA, it might be enticing to take the over. That said, Nelson has posted an 8.08 ERA in nine starts at home this season, but that number drops to 2.68 in 10 outings away from Chase Field. If that trend continues tonight, then I like the under.

MLB BETTING PREDICTION: DIAMONDBACKS/BRAVES UNDER 10
