Rockies vs. Diamondbacks Prediction
National League West rivals the Rockies and Diamondbacks will play the rubber match today in Arizona when the two teams square off at 3:40PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Diamondbacks are -170 money line favorites over the Rockies, who have odds of +150 to pull off the upset on the road. The over/under, meanwhile, is sitting at 8.5.

Tyler Chatwood will make his season debut when he toes the rubber today for the Rockies. He surrendered four runs (one earned) over three innings in a March 24 spring start against the Mariners. The 26-year-old is making his way back from his second Tommy John surgery and hasn’t pitched in a major league game since April 29 of 2004.

Speaking of Tommy John surgery, Patrick Corbin had a strong season last year while bouncing back from the aliment and he had a quality spring for Arizona. He registered a 0.63 ERA and a 17/3 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 14 1/3 innings. Even though he’s the D-Backs’ third starter, he has top-of-the-rotation stuff.
The Diamondbacks 9-0 in Corbin’s last nine starts against the Rockies and are 5-0 in his last five home starts versus Colorado. After losing yesterday, the Rockies are now just 1-4 in their last five games versus Arizona.
