Indians vs. A’s Prediction
Will tonight’s Indians and A’s matchup at 10:05PM ET be low-scoring for bettors?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Indians are -147 money line favorites versus the A’s, who have odds of +132 to pull off the upset in Cleveland. With Carlos Carrasco set to oppose Andrew Triggs in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 7.5 runs, down from the opening number of 8.
Bet Tonight’s Indians vs. A’s Game
CLEVELAND: Carrasco allowed five runs (four earned) while striking out 11 in 6 2/3 innings versus the White Sox last Wednesday. Granted, allowing five runs is nothing to write home about but if it weren’t for a Cody Allen implosion in the ninth inning, Carrasco would have received the win. Carrasco now owns a 3.34 ERA on the year and continues to miss plenty of bats in recent starts.
OAKLAND: Triggs allowed one run over 5 2/3 innings on Tuesday versus the Rangers. He only surrendered two hits without walking a batter in what was his best showing of his rookie season. Despite his best efforts, he still doesn’t have a big-league win and will carry a 4.98 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in tonight’s outing versus the Indians.
