With the total sitting at 9 runs, will the over cash for bettors when the Red Sox visit the White Sox at 8:10PM ET tonight?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the White Sox and Red Sox both have odds of -105 on the money line for tonight’s game. As previously mentioned, the over/under sits at 9 runs with Henry Owens set to face Erik Johnson in the pitching matchup.

Owens finished with a no-decision in his last outing after allowing two runs over six innings last Friday against the Yankees. He gave up six hits, walked three, and also hit a batter on the night. Owens is 0-0 and carries a 4.82 ERA with a 1.93 WHIP into tonight’s game.
As for the 26-year-old Johnson, he’ll join the White Sox’ starting rotation tonight while replacing veteran John Danks, who was pushed off the 40-man roster on Tuesday. Johnson owns a 4.17 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and a 6.9 strikeout rate in 86 1/3 career major league innings.

OUR PREDICTION: The over is 6-0 in Owens’ last six road starts and 9-4 in his last 13 starts overall. On the other side, the over is 11-3-2 in Johnson’s last 16 starts overall, 6-1-1 in his last eight starts versus a team with a winning record, and 7-0 when he starts Game 3 of a series. Given this pitching matchup, neither side should have issues scoring runs tonight.
