Mark Trumbo continued his hot play on Friday night when he hit a pair of home runs in the seventh inning to help the Orioles rout the Rangers, 11-5. Baltimore entered the seventh inning training 5-1 until Trumbo hit a two-run blast off Tom Wilhelmsen. Jonathan Schoop and Nolan Reimold also left the yard in the inning, then Trumbo capped off the nine-run inning with a three-run shot off Andrew Fulkner.

Mitch Moreland also hit his first home run of the season for the Rangers in the defeat. He connected off a pitch from Vance Worley to get the scoring started in a five-run second-inning for Texas. Moreland finished the night 1-for-4 and is hitting just .205 with three RBI on the year.

OUR PREDICTION: The over is a perfect 4-0 in Lewis’ last four starts versus the Orioles and 5-1 in his last six starts versus a team with a winning record. The over is also 4-1-1 in the Orioles’ last six games overall and is 4-1 in their last five road games.

SATURDAY MLB PREDICTION: ORIOLES/RANGERS OVER 9.5
