Ronald Acuna Jr. helped pace the Atlanta offense by going 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs. Ozzie Albies finished 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. MLB Betting Trends
Atlanta
The Braves are 3-12 in their last 15 Friday games. The over is 19-7 in the last 26 Atlanta road games.
New York
The Mets are 9-23 in their last 32 home games. New York is 3-7 in its last 10 Friday games.
Prediction:
Atlanta has been on a roll lately, but faces one of the best pitchers in baseball in deGrom here. But the issue is that the Mets never score for deGrom, leading to his sub-.500 record. Sanchez is plenty good enough to keep New York’s bats silent and as long as the Braves can pound out a few runs against deGrom plus the bullpen, it should win this one.
