Home Run Derby Prediction

Will Aaron Judge win the 2017 Home Run Derby or will there be an upset?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, both Judge and defending champ Giancarlo Stanton have odds of 2/1, respectively, to win tonight’s Home Run Derby in Miami. Judge has been a revelation for the Yankees, as he leads all hitters with 30 home runs in the first half. Stanton is close with 26, which is tied with Reds first baseman Joey Votto in the National League.

Continuing with the odds, Dodgers’ rookie sensation Cody Bellinger is 13/2 to win the Home Run Derby, followed by Twins’ third baseman Miguel Sano at 7/1. Judge’s teammate Gary Sanchez is 12/1, followed by Charlie Blackmon, Mike Moustakas and Justin Bour, who are all 14/1, respectively, to win tonight in Miami.

Bellinger has just one fewer home run than Votto and Stanton at 26 for the year. Moustakas has 25 long balls as well, while Sano has 21 for the year. Sanchez has just 13, while Bour has 20.

Bet Tonight’s Home Run Derby

Will Judge win tonight? Stanton won it a year ago so he knows what it takes to pace himself, but I’m not going to go against one of the best stories of the year in Judge. He’s big enough not to tire himself out throughout and his 2/1 odds still offer value despite he and Stanton being the favorite.
