Jon Rahm is the current favorite at +700, followed by Rory McIlroy at +900 and Scottie Scheffler at +1000. Xander Schauffele, meanwhile, is +1400 to win this weekend’s tournament, followed by Justin Thomas at +1500 and Tony Finau at +1600. Max Homa and Collin Morikawa are +2000, respectively.
The Genesis Open Predictions
OPTION 1: Justin Thomas +1500
Riviera Country Club is a classic course known for its challenging layout and iconic design. The par-71 course measures 7,322 yards and features a variety of challenging holes, including several narrow fairways and tricky greens. Thomas has been playing well of late and has the game to succeed on any course.
OPTION 2: Collin Morikawa +2000
The young star won the PGA Championship in 2020 and has quickly established himself as one of the game’s top players.
OPTION 3: Max Homa +2000
Homa is the defending champ here, as he earned his second career PGA Tour victory with a playoff win over Tony Finau. While lightning might not strike twice at Riviera Country Club, backing someone with a proven track record on such a challenging course is sound logic.
