According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Andretti is listed at 12/1 to win Sunday’s Indy 500. Scott Dixon is the favorite with 9/2 odd while Simon Pagenaud and Will Power each have 11/2 odds. This race will take place on Sunday at Noon ET from Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Marco Andretti is set to compete in his 10th Indianapolis 500 this Sunday. He has consistently been near the front at the end, but has failed to ever get the victory. In his debut in 2006, Andretti finished second and he has since finished third in 2008, 2010 and 2014. Andretti will start eighth on Sunday, which is his worst starting position since 2011. He is looking to become the first Andretti to win the Indy 500 since Mario won back in 1969.
This season hasn’t gone to well for Marco Andretti. He is currently in 13th place in the point standings with 95 points. Of the five races this season, Andretti has yet to crack the top 5 once. He does have three top 10s to his credit, but two are an actual 10th-place finish. Andretti is seeking his first IndyCar win since 2011.
