Turbo Indy 300 Odds
The 2010 IRL Season heads to Kansas Speedway on Saturday for the running of the 2010 Road Runner Turbo Indy 300.
The IRL is trading in the road course for the oval track this week, and Ryan Briscoe has emerged as the favorite to win this event along with Scott Dixon and Helio Castroneves.
The trio have 7/2 odds to win according to odds makers from the online sports book Sportsbook.com. Other short odds to win are Dario Franchitti (4/1).
Briscoe is seventh in the standings, 69 points behind leader, Will Power. Briscoe has finished in the top eight of the last three races. He finished fourth in this race a year ago and seventh in 2008.
Castroneves is second in the standings, 42 points behind Power. He has finished in the top 10 in every race this year with one victory. Castroneves was runner-up in this race a year ago and he also finished in the top 10 in the race over the last eight years.
Franchitti is fifth in the standings, 60 points out of first. He finished in the top seven in the first three races before landing 12th in the last race. Franchitti finished 18th in this race a year ago, but was second in 2007 and fourth in 2005 and 2004.
