American Pharoah Triple Crown Odds
PIMLICO, BALTIMORE (The Spread) – Will American Pharoah win horse racing’s Triple Crown in 2015? The odds would suggest no.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, American Pharoah has 9/4 odds to win the Triple Crown and 2/7 to come up short. That means for every $4.00 that you wager on him to win the Triple Crown, you’ll collect $9.00 on a winning wager. Conversely, you’ll have to put up $7.00 just to win $2.00 if you wager on him not winning the Triple Crown.
American Pharoah is, however, favored to win Saturday’s Preakness Stakes at Pimlico. He has 10/13 odds to win the second leg of the Triple Crown and 10/11 to come up short. He’s also 1/1 to win the Belmont Stakes and 5/7 to finish outside of the top spot in the third leg of the Triple Crown.
