Publisher: Spread Media Inc. (TheSpread.com)

Last updated: September 18, 2025

Our Principles

We strive for accuracy and transparency. When errors occur, we correct them promptly and clearly, preserving reader trust.

Types of Changes

  • Minor updates: Typos, formatting fixes, and routine odds/injury line refreshes. These may be updated silently.
  • Substantive corrections: Incorrect scores, dates/times, locations, odds that materially change meaning, misattributions, or factual inaccuracies. These receive a clearly labeled correction note.
  • Clarifications: When wording was accurate but potentially ambiguous, we may add a note to clarify.

Correction Process

  1. Verification: Editors verify the reported issue against primary sources.
  2. Update: The article is corrected, and a dated/timestamped note is added to the bottom of the piece for substantive issues.
  3. Disclosure: The note states what changed and why (e.g., “Updated Sept. 18, 2025 at 2:15 p.m. ET: corrected final score.”).

How to Report an Error

If you spot an error, email [email protected] with:

  • Article title and URL
  • What you believe is incorrect
  • Any supporting source(s) or documentation

Corrections Log (Optional)

For major coverage (e.g., season hubs or frequently updated guides), editors may maintain a brief corrections and updates log at the end of the page.
