Luis Matos went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a steal Friday as the Giants beat the Pirates 6-4. Matos has sat the last couple of times the Giants have faced a righty, which isn’t good. Fortunately for him, they’ve faced lefties in four of their last five games, giving him some extra at-bats, and his big hit in the seventh tonight came against a righty. His speed could make him a mixed-league guy, but only if he’s an everyday player. He probably isn’t right now
Pittsburgh Pirates DFS SPIN
Andrew McCutchen (elbow) is expected to return from the 10-day injured list on Sunday. That’s the first day that the 36-year-old outfielder is eligible to return and he expects to jump right back into the Pirates’ lineup on that day. He has been shelved since July 7 due to minor inflammation in his right elbow.

The Giants are a little steep tonight but I’m backing them anyway. In 16 starts this season, Cobb owns an outstanding 2.91 ERA across 89 2/3 innings, while Oviedo has posted a 4.75 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP across his 100 1/3 innings (18 starts). Both offenses are struggling, but the Pirates have been dreadful of late. Over their last 10 games, the Bucs own a 69 wRC+, which is the lowest of every team in MLB outside of the Rays (66) over that span.
