Chris Bell will start Saturday’s game versus Notre Dame. Bell was already expected to be available despite suffering a leg injury during the Jan. 11 win over Virginia Tech, and it appears this injury will not even keep him from retaining his usual starting role Saturday. Over 17 starts this season, the 6-foot-7 freshman has averaged 6.7 points and 1.5 boards while playing 18.4 minutes per contest.

AJ Casey (shoulder) did not play in Saturday’s 83-81 loss to N.C. State on Saturday. Casey decided he would dictate his decision based on how he felt in warmups and apparently didn’t feel well enough to give it a go. The 6-9 freshman will try again Monday when the team hosts Syracuse.
