Adrian Martinez completed 12 of 19 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown while racking up 77 yards on 19 carries in Saturday’s 10-9 win at Iowa State. Martinez was able to throw for the game’s only touchdown pass as he grinded out a win at Iowa State. He didn’t have the monster performance he had against Oklahoma or Texas Tech, yet it was a solid effort from the dual-threat quarterback who is playing well. The Wildcats will be on a bye next week before playing at TCU in a game that should have a bunch of offense.
TCU Horned Frogs Game Notes
Max Duggan completed 23 of 40 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns to go along with 11 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown during Saturday’s 43-40 overtime win versus Oklahoma State. Duggan is one of the hottest quarterbacks in the country with a rushing score in three straight games. He’s been superb through the air with a conference-leading 16 passing touchdowns and just one interception. Don’t expect this to slow down anytime soon as TCU has plenty of weapons in the offense and are motivated to take the conference and nation by surprise. TCU will play Kansas State next week.
