Michael Flowers closed Monday’s 62-59 loss to Oregon with 23 points (8-21 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 36 minutes. Flowers led all scorers in the game with 23 points although he needed 21 shots to get there, as he shot just 38 percent from the floor. He continues to take on a big role for a struggling Washington State offense that didn’t have another starter reach double figures in the loss. Flowers is shooting a solid 38 percent from long-range this season.
UCLA Bruins DFS Snapshot
Jaime Jaquez finished with five points (2-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday’s 67-64 loss to USC. Jaquez had one of his worst games of the season, connecting on just 18 percent of his field goal attempts and was unable to contribute much in any other areas. It was the first time in four games this month that he was unable to reach double figures. Jaquez has regressed with his three-point shooting this season at only 27 percent.

The underdog has covered in nine of the last 13 meetings between these two teams, while the Cougars are 10-4-1 against the number in their last 15 road games and 9-3-1 at the betting window in their last 13 road games versus a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. Washington State had a recent run of failing to cover in three straight games, but two of those ATS losses were as the favorite. As a dog earlier this week in Eugene, the Cougars cashed against the Ducks and I like them to cash as an even bigger road dog tonight in Berkeley.
