MILWAUKEE (AP) – Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer is perfect through six innings against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Scherzer had struck out 11 on Sunday at Miller Park. He fanned the side in the bottom of the sixth.
The closest that the Brewers had come to a hit was a hard bounceout up the middle by pitcher Taylor Jungman to end the third.
Scherzer had reached base by himself more than the Brewers with a single in the fourth.
