Cavs underdogs for Game 1 of Finals
OAKLAND, CA (The Spread) – The point spread for Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals has been released and the Cavs will be an underdog when the series opens next Thursday.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Warriors have opened as a 6-point home favorite over the Cavs for Game 1, which tips off at 9:00PM ET on Thursday, June 4. The total, meanwhile, opened at 203.5 points.
The Warriors are 7-3 in their last 10 games but covered in only half of those contests. The Cavs, meanwhile, are 8-2 over their last 10, which included a sweep of the Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals. Cleveland, however, is also 5-5 against the spread over its last 10 games.
Golden State is currently 5/12 to win the 2015 NBA Championship while Cleveland is a 19/10 long shot.
