Al Horford Prop Odds
ATLANTA, GA (TheSpread) – Al Horford has been a big force for the Atlanta Hawks throughout this season. Will Horford step up in Game 2 of tonight’s Eastern Conference Finals.
According to the latest oddsmakers, the Hawks are the slight favorite at home in Game 2, as Atlanta is getting odds of -2 points against the Cavaliers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 197 points. When it comes to the prop odds for Horford tonight, his over/under for points+rebounds has been listed at 26.5 points. He also has been given an over/under of 1.5 blocks.
Horford is listed at the team’s center, but he is a little undersized for the position. That isn’t a problem against Cleveland, which is somewhat of a small team in size. Horford averaged 15.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game during the regular season. In the playoffs, Horford is averaging 15.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.62 blocks per game. With the knee injury to forward DeMarre Carroll, who was pulling down 6.4 rebounds per game, Horford may have to have even more presence on the glass in this game.
In Game 1 of this series, Horford had 16 points with seven rebounds. He didn’t record a block. Horford went up against Cleveland three times during the season. He had 12 points with four rebounds and no blocks in a loss at Cleveland on Nov. 15. When the two met on Dec. 17, Horford had 20 points with two rebounds and two blocks in a road win. On March 6, Horford had 19 points with nine rebounds and one block in a win at home.
