Spurs vs. Clippers Game 2 Odds
LOS ANGELES (TheSpread) – The Los Angeles Clippers can establish an important 2-0 series lead on the San Antonio Spurs tonight at 10:30PM ET when the two meet for Game 2 of their series.
The Clippers are 57-26 on the season, 31-11 at home and 38-44 against the spread. San Antonio is 55-28 overall, 22-20 on the road and 41-40 against the spread. With the 107-92 win over San Antonio in Game 1, the Clippers have now won and covered the spread in three straight meetings with the Spurs. The two have hit the over in seven of their last 10 encounters.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Clippers are the slight favorite in tonight’s contest, as they are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Spurs. The over/under total for the game has been set at 207.5 points.
Though this series was expected to be quite competitive, the Clippers easily took Game 1, 107-92. Los Angeles jumped out to a 30-18 lead after one quarter and never looked back. The Clippers were hot shooting, going 40 of 78 from the field and 10 of 18 from 3-point land. The Spurs struggled to hit shots, going just 34 of 93 from the field and 10 of 33 from 3-point land. Chris Paul led the Clippers with 32 points, seven rebounds and six assists while Blake Griffin had 26 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals and three blocks. The Spurs were led by Kawhi Leonard, who had 18 points and four steals.
