Cavs struggling at betting window
CLEVELAND, OH (The Spread) – The Cavs are a double-digit favorite today in Game 1 at 3:00PM ET against the Celtics but they’ve struggled at the betting window.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cavs are 12-point home favorites versus the Celtics after opening as an 11-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 204 after opening at 205.
Cleveland is 1-5 against the spread in its last six games overall and 0-4 ATS in its last four games versus Atlantic opponents. The Cavs are also 2-5 against the number in their last seven home games and are 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a straight up win.
On the other side, the Celtics are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games versus the Cavs and the underdog is 10-4 against the number in the last 14 meetings between these two teams.
