Toronto is the fourth seed in the East, as the Raptors were 49-33 overall. Toronto was also 27-14 at home, 22-19 on the road and 33-19 in conference play. Washington is the fifth seed in this conference. The Wizards were 46-36 on the season while going 29-12 at home, 17-24 on the road and 30-22 against conference opponents. Toronto will have the home-court edge in this series.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, the Raptors are favored to win this series, as they are getting odds of -190 to win, while the Wizards have been given a money line of +165 to win. Game 1 of this series will take place on Saturday at 12:30PM ET.
These two teams met three times during this past season and Toronto won all three meetings while covering the spread in two of the three games. The Raptors have won seven of their last eight meetings with the Wizards while going 6-2 against the spread in those eight games. These two hit the under in two of their three meetings on the season and they have hit the under in seven of their last 10 meetings.
