Top QBs score well on Wonderlic
CHICAGO, IL (The Spread) – The two top quarterbacks in this year’s NFL draft class both scored well on the Wonderlic Test according to a report by Yahoo Sports.
According to Yahoo, Florida State signal-caller Jameis Winston scored a 27 on the Wonderlic while Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota scored a 33. For sake of comparison, future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning scored a 28 on his test while first-round bust Blaine Gabbert scored a 42.
Winston still remains the favorite to land in Tampa Bay, which has the No. 1 overall pick in this month’s draft. There have been rumors that the Bucs will take Mariota instead, although everything at this time of year should be taken with a grain of salt.
