Rockets struggling to cover in Dallas
DALLAS, TX (The Spread) – The Rockets have struggled to cover the spread in Dallas, which is where they’ll be tonight when they play the Mavericks at 8:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Mavericks are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Rockets after opening as 2-point favorites. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 211 points after opening at that same number.
As previously mentioned, Houston is 5-11 against the spread in its last 16 games versus the Mavericks and 1-6 ATS in its last seven games in Dallas. The home team is also 8-2 against the spread in the last 10 meetings between these two teams while the favorite is 7-3 at the betting window in the last 10 meetings as well.
