Underdog hot in Spurs vs. Mavs
DALLAS, TX (The Spread) – The Mavs will host the Spurs tonight at 8:00PM ET on TNT and the underdog is scorching hot in previous meetings between these teams.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Mavericks are 3-point home underdogs versus the Spurs after the game opened as a pick’em. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 205.5 after opening at 207.5.
The line movement action helps Dallas from a historical standpoint, as the underdog is 10-1 against the spread in the last 11 meetings between these two teams. The Spurs are also just 2-7 at the betting window in their last nine games overall versus the Mavericks.
That said, the Mavs have struggled to cover the spread of late. They’re just 1-4 against the number in their last five home games and are winless at 0-4 against the number in their last four games overall.
