Cardinals struggling to cover at home
LOUISVILLE, KY (The Spread) – Louisville has had issues covering the spread at home of late, which spells trouble with Virginia visiting tonight at 6:30PM ET.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cardinals are 2.5-point home underdogs versus the Cavaliers after opening as a 2-point dog for tonight’s contest. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 111.5 points after opening as low as 109.
The Cardinals are just 3-12-2 at the beting window in their last 17 home games and are 1-5 against the spread in their last six games overall. They’re also 1-5 against the number in their last six ACC games.
On the other side, Virginia is 33-16-2 against the spread in its last 51 games overall and a profitable 16-5-1 at the betting window in its last 22 road games. The Cavaliers have also been successful playing on Saturday, covering the number at 35-16-2 on this day over their last 53 attempts.
