Line moves in SA vs. PHX matchup
PHOENIX, AZ (The Spread) – The Suns host the Spurs tonight at 9:00PM ET in a matchup that has already seen the line jump the fence.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Suns are 1.5-point home favorites over the Spurs for tonight’s matchup while the total is sitting at 207.5 points. Phoenix opened as a 1-point home underdog but the line jumped the fence and now the Suns are favorites at most sports books.
The home team is 3-0-1 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams while the over is 9-4 in the last 13 meetings in Phoenix. The Suns are also 5-2 against the number in their lsat seven home games versus a team with a losing road record.
On the other side, the Spurs have struggled to cover the number in recent games, going 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. They’re also 1-5-1 against the number in their last seven games versus Western Conference foes and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a win of more than 10 points.
