Underdog cashing in Pistons-Pacers
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (The Spread) – The Pacers host the Pistons tonight as a small favorite but it’s Detroit that bettors should favor based on recent trends.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Pacers are 3.5-point home favorites over the Pistons while the over/under total is currently sitting at 193 points.
The underdog and road team have cashed at the betting window when these two teams meet. The underdog is 5-1 against the spread in the last six games between these two teams while the road team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. The Pistons, meanwhile, are also 4-1 against the spread in their last five games versus the Pacers overall.
On the other side, the Pacers are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games versus a team with a losing road record. They’re also 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games overall and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following an ATS loss.
