Hawks look to stay hot on Wednesday
ATLANTA, GA (The Spread) – The Hawks will look to pick up their 17th win in a row tonight and also stay hot at the betting window when they host the Nets.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Hawks are 13.5-point home favorites versus the Nets while the over/under total for tonight’s game is currently sitting at 194 points. Atlanta opened as a 14-point favorite before the number dropped, while the total opened at 195.5 before dropping as well.
The Hawks have been on a tear at the betting window, covering in 41 of their last 57 games overall. They’re also 6-1 against the spread in their last seven home games, 6-0 ATS in their last six games on Wednesday night and 5-0 ATS in their last five games versus Atlantic opponents.
On the other side, the Nets are just 3-10 against the spread in their last 13 games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games playing on one day of rest. They’re also just 1-5 at the betting window in their last six games versus a team with a winning record.
