Trends favor MIN in Wolves vs. Hawks
ATLANTA, GA (The Spread) – The Hawks will attempt to win their 16th-straight game tonight when they host the Timberwolves at 6:00PM ET but the trends favor Minnesota.
The Timberwolves are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six games versus the Hawks and are 4-1-2 against the number in their last seven road games versus Atlanta. They’re also 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games and are a perfect 4-0 at the betting window in their last four road games versus a team with a winning home record.
Then again, the Hawks have been red-hot both against the spread and straight up. We’ve already mentioned the 15-straight victories but they’re also a perfect 6-0 against the spread in their last six home games and are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games versus Western Conference opponents. They’re a perfect 8-0 ATS in their last eight games versus a team with a losing straight up record as well.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Hawks are a whopping 17.5-point home favorites tonight versus the Timberwolves while the over/under total is currently sitting at 201 points.
