Public backing Pats, Pack on Sunday
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – It’s Championship Sunday and public bettors continue to favor the Packers and Patriots in the title games the closer we get to kickoff.
The NFC title game is set for 3:05PM ET today and according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are now 8.5-point home favorites over the Packers. Despite Seattle being favored, 51% of public bettors are currently back Green Bay in this matchup.
The public is more definitive when it comes to which team its back in the AFC title game, where the Patriots are 6.5-point home favorites over the Colts. Of the current wagers for the AFC Championship Game, 64% of public bettors are currently backing New England minus the points.
