Spread in DEN-IND game climbs
DENVER, CO (The Spread) – Over the past 24 hours the spread in today’s playoff matchup between the Broncos and Colts has climbed nearly three full points.
The Broncos opened as 7-point favorites over the Colts after Indianapolis knocked off Cincinnati on Wildcard Weekend. Despite the line staying steady for most of the week, the spread started to climb rapidly on Sunday and now the number is sitting at either 9 or 9.5 depending on the sports book.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Broncos are 9.5-point home favorites over the Colts while the total is sitting at 54 points. At Vegas sports books MGM Mirage, William Hill and Wynn Las Vegas, the line is also 9.5.
The Colts are a perfect 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games versus the Broncos while the over is a near-perfect 8-1 in the last nine meetings between these two teams overall.
