SANTA CLARA, CA (The Spread) – Stanford shouldn’t have much issue beating Maryland in tonight’s Foster Farms Bowl but will the Cardinal cover as a double-digit favorite?

According to oddsmamkers from online sports book BetDSI, Stanford is a 14-point favorite over Maryland for tonight’s 10:00PM ET kickoff while the total is currently sitting at 48 points.
The Cardinal has been an excellent play in recent bowl games, going 4-1 against the spread in its last five bowl games overall. Stanford is also a perfect 5-0 against the number in its last five games in December, 4-1 ATS in its last five neutral site games and 22-9-1 ATS in its last 32 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in its previous game.
On the other side the Terrapins are 0-7 against the number in their last seven games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game. They’re also just 8-20 ATS in their last 28 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game.
