INDIANAPOLIS, IN (The Spread) – The Colts are favored today against their AFC South rivals the Texans, who have struggled in previous meetings with Indy.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Colts are 7-point home favorites over the Texans while the over/under total for today’s 1:00PM ET kick off is set at 49 points. The Colts opened as 6.5-point favorites before the line was bet up, while the total opened at 49.5 before coming down.
The favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams while the home squad is 7-2 against the number in the last nine meetings. The Texans are also 0-4 against the spread in their last four games versus the Colts and 0-4 ATS in their last four games in Indianapolis.
On the other side, the Colts are 15-2 against the spread in their last 17 games following an ATS loss, 6-1 ATS in their last seven games on fieldturf and 4-1 ATS in their last five games in Week 15. They’re also 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games, 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games versus AFC South opponents and 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games versus the AFC.
