SAN DIEGO: The Chargers upset the Seahawks 30-21 as a 4.5-point home underdog last Sunday, effectively bouncing back following their 18-17 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night. Tight end Antonio Gates stole the show while catching all seven of his targets for 96 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Philip Rivers was practically perfect, completing 28-of-37 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns. Unfortunately for the Chargers it wasn’t all good as running back Ryan Mathews will be sidelined 4-5 weeks due to a MCL sprain. San Diego is now 1-1 straight up but 2-0 against the spread.

BUFFALO: The Bills have been the surprise of the young NFL season as they’re now 2-0 following their 29-10 win over the Dolphins as a 1-point home favorite. Rookie Sammy Watkins stole the show by catching eight passes for 117 yards and a touchdown in the victory, while E.J. Manuel completed 16-of-26 passes for 202 yards with the lone touchdown. C.J. Spiller added 69 yards on 12 carries while the Buffalo defense held Miami to just 80 yards on the ground. The Bills are now 2-0 on the year and 2-0 against the spread.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bills are 2-point favorites over the Chargers while the over/under total is currently sitting at 45 points. This game opened as a pick’em before the line moved in favor of the Bills, while the total opened at 44.5 and has been bet up.
