Updated 2015 Stanley Cup Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The 2014-15 NHL regular season is rapidly approaching and with that, let’s take a look at the latest 2015 Stanley Cup odds to win.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Blackhawks remain favored to win next season’s Stanley Cup at 13/2 odds, while the defending champion Kings are 9/1 and the Bruins are 10/1. The Ducks, Penguins and Blues, meanwhile, are all 12/1, respectively, while the Sharks are 14/1 and the Wild, Rangers and Lightning are 16/1, respectively.
The Blackhawks opened with odds to win the Cup at 8/1 while the Kings were 12/1, as were the Blues and Penguins. The Ducks and Sharks, meanwhile, opened with Cup odds of 14/1, respectively, while the Avalanche were 16/1.
Continuing with the latest odds, the Avalanche and Canadiens are both 18/1, respectively, while the Stars are 20/1 and the Red Wings are 22/1. The Flyers, meanwhile, are 28/1, while the Blue Jackets are 33/1 and the Maple Leafs, Canucks and Capitals are 40/1. The Oilers and Devils are both 50/1, respectively, to win next season’s Cup.
The long shots are the Hurricanes, Islanders, Senators, Coyotes and Jets are all 66/1, respectively, while the Sabres, Flames, Panthers and Predators have the worst odds at 75/1, respectively. All of these teams opened with long odds to win the Cup, so nothing has changed despite each team have an opportunity to improve their rosters in the offseason.
