Wimbledon Women’s Singles Odds
LONDON, England (TheSpread) – The next grand slam event begins on Monday. Here is a look at the odds to win the women’s singles title at Wimbledon.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Serena Williams is the favorite to win this event, as she has 5/4 odds. Other short odds to win are Maria Sharapova (5/1) and Li Na (11/1).
Williams is a five-time Wimbledon champion. She has won the title three of the last five years. She is a 17-time grand slam event winner, but has not made it past the fourth round in three of her last four grand slam events.
Sharapova is a one-time Wimbledon winner, with the victory coming back in 2004. She hasn’t reached the finals since then, aside from 2011. She is a five-time grand slam event winner, including the 2014 French Open a few weeks ago.
Na is a two-time grand slam winner, but has never won Wimbledon. She hasn’t reached the semifinals in this event in seven appearances.
