LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – How many wins will the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks win in 2014? Here’s a peak at their odds.
Seattle won 13 games last season, which was most in the AFC (and tied with Denver, which also finished with 13 victories in the regular season). And now, according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks’ over/under for wins in 2014 is sitting at 11. The Broncos, who the Seahawks destroyed in last season’s Super Bowl, currently have an over/under of 11.5.
The Seahawks and Broncos are two of only five teams that currently have an over/under win total in the double digits. The other three teams with win totals in the double digits are the Packers, Patriots and 49ers, whom all have over/unders of 10.5, respectively. That said, the odds for the over and unders can fluctuate, so see below for a complete list of odds for every team.
Who has the lowest over/under for number of wins in 2014? That would belong to the Jaguars and Raiders, whom both have win totals listed at 4.5, respectively. The next lowest win total is 6 for the Vikings, although the Bills and Browns have similar win totals at 6.5, respectively.
There are two teams with win totals listed at 9.5 and they are the Colts and Saints, while the Bengals have an over/under of 9 for the amount of victories in 2014. Cincinnati has made the playoffs for three consecutive years but has yet to win one of those postseason games.
