Updated NHL East Odds
(TheSpread) – The NHL Eastern Conference is down to its final two teams. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s conference finals.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Montreal Canadiens are favored, as they have 2/3 odds, while the New York Rangers have 6/5 odds.
The Canadiens opened the playoffs by sweeping the Tampa Bay Lightning. They were the lone team to sweep in the first round. Montreal then defeated the favorite in the East, the Boston Bruins, in seven games. The Canadiens have won the conference title eight times, with the last title coming back in 1993.
The Rangers started the playoffs by winning a seven-game series against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Rangers then went on to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in seven games in the conference semifinals despite trailing 3-1 in the series. The Rangers have only won the conference title one time, which was back in 1994.
