According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Miami Heat are still the favorites, as they have 3/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are the San Antonio Spurs (5/2), the Oklahoma City Thunder (4/1) and the Los Angeles Clippers (7/1).

The Heat are the No. 2 seed in the East and they had a week off after sweeping the Charlotte Bobcats in the opening round. All other teams in the East have a lot of questions entering the conference semifinals. Miami faces Brooklyn in the second round.

The Spurs are the top seed in the West, but it took them seven games to dispose of the Dallas Mavericks in the first round. San Antonio will now face the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round.

Oklahoma City is the No. 2 seed in the West. The Thunder needed seven games to get past the Memphis Grizzlies. They will now face the Clippers in the second round.

The Clippers overcame a lot of off-court distractions to beat the Golden State Warriors in the first round. The Clippers are the third seed and won’t have the home-court edge against the Thunder.
