The featured game this week is an SEC clash between top-seeded Alabama and No. 6 Texas A&M at 3:30PM ET (View Matchup) from College Station. According to oddsmakers are the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Alabama is the favorite in this game, as the Crimson Tide have odds of -7.5 points at Texas A&M. The over/under total for the game has been set at 63 points. Texas A&M is 2-0 on the season, 2-0 at home and 1-1 against the spread. Alabama is coming off a bye week last week, but is 1-0 on the season and 0-0 on the road and 1-0 against the spread. Texas A&M handed Alabama its lone loss of last season, as the Aggies picked up a 29-24 win at Alabama last November. The Crimson Tide have been increasingly tough to beat with an extra week or more of preparation.
The other featured game of Week 3 has No. 23 Nebraska hosting No. 16 UCLA at Noon ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, Nebraska is the slight favorite at home, as the Cornhuskers have odds of -4.5 points against UCLA. The over/under total for this game has been set at 68.5 points. UCLA is 1-0 on the season, 1-0 against the spread and playing in its first road game. Nebraska is 2-0 on the season, 2-0 at home and 1-1 against the spread. UCLA handed Nebraska a 36-30 win at home last year and the home team has won and covered in four of the last five meetings between these two.
