The featured game of Week 2 has No. 5 Georgia hosting No. 6 South Carolina at 4:30PM ET on Saturday. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Georgia is the favorite at home, as the Bulldogs have odds of -4 points against the Gamecocks. The over/under total for this game has been set at 60 points. Georgia opened the season with a 38-35 loss on the road against Clemson. The Bulldogs were the favorite entering the game. South Carolina opened up with a win at home against North Carolina, 27-10. The Gamecocks covered an 11-point spread with the victory. South Carolina dominated the Bulldogs last season, in a 35-7 victory.
The other featured game of Week 2 has No. 17 Michigan hosting No. 14 Notre Dame at 8PM ET. According to oddsmakers, Michigan is the slight favorite at home, as the Wolverines have odds of -3 points against the Fighting Irish. The over/under total for the game has been set at 50 points. Michigan started the season with a 59-9 win over Central Michigan, in which it covered a 31.5-point spread. Notre Dame started the season with a 28-6 win at home over Temple. The Irish didn’t cover the spread in the victory. Notre Dame grinded out a 13-6 win at home over Michigan last season.
