Browns vs. Giants Week 5 Odds
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) – The Giants are heavy favorites this Sunday when they host the Browns at 1:00PM ET.
CLEVELAND: Brandon Weeden completed 25-of-52 passes with no touchdowns and an interception in the Browns’ 23-16 loss to the Ravens last Thursday night. Trent Richardson also rushed 14 times for 47 yards and a touchdown. Greg Little added four passes for 77 yards, while Jordan Norwood also caught four passes for 56 yards. The loss dropped Cleveland to 0-4 on the season but the Browns are 2-1-1 against the spread after covering as a 12-point favorite. The under has hit in three of the Browns’ first four games.
ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Giants as 9.5-point home favorites over the Browns, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 44 points. Cleveland enters play with a 0-4 record and is 0-2 on the road, while New York is 2-2 overall and 1-1 at home.
TRENDS: The Browns are 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four games in October but they’re 5-0-1 ATS in their last six road games and 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Giants, meanwhile, are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games in Week 5 and 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
