NFL Week 2 Las Vegas Odds
(The Spread) – The oddsmakers in Las Vegas have released the point spreads and totals for Week 2’s action in the NFL. Let’s check out the odds for the big matchups this week.
The week starts in Green Bay on Thursday when the Packers host the Bears in a NFC North showdown. Despite Chicago’s victory over Indianapolis last Sunday and Green Bay’s loss to San Francisco at home, the Packers find themselves 5.5-point favorites over the Bears this week.
The Sunday Night Football game should be a good one as the 49ers will host the Lions in a matchup that features two playoff teams from a year ago. As previously mentioned, San Francisco upset Green Bay as a 5.5-point underdog last week and while Detroit came back to beat St. Louis, the Lions failed to cover as a 9-point home favorite versus the Rams. San Francisco is a 6-point home favorite this week, while the over/under total is 47 in Vegas.

The Monday Night Football matchup has plenty of intrigue as well. Peyton Manning and the Broncos will visit Matt Ryan and the Falcons, who are 3-point home favorites after laying 40 points on Denver’s AFC West rivals, the Chiefs last week in Kansas City. Expecting a shootout, oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage have set the total at 51.
On Sunday the Saints are 2-point road favorites against NFC South rival Carolina while the Patriots are 13.5-point favorites over the Cardinals. The Giants are 8-point favorites against the Bucs at home, while the Ravens are 2.5-point road underdogs against the Eagles, who struggled in Cleveland last Sunday.
